Born and raised in Puerto Varas, his passion for the mountains, climbing and skiing has led him not only to travel and climb in different places and countries - such as the French Alps, the Spanish Pyrenees, the Andes in Chile and Argentina, and a recent family trip to Canada - but also to be a founding member of the first Mountain Club in Puerto Varas and a volunteer with extensive experience in the Andean Relief Corps (CSA) of Puerto Varas.
He is a certified ANGM mountain guide and climbing instructor, and has also completed several snow and avalanche, rescue and first aid courses. In addition to supporting us as a guide in Huella Andina, he is currently in charge of his family's business - El Restaurant Don Jorge - and runs his company "Pioneros Compañia de Guías" in Puerto Varas.
