A mountain ascent immersed in a Patagonian landscape; less physically demanding than the climb of Osorno or Calbuco. The climbing route allows safe and entertaining ascent throughout the year. In winter and spring with snowy slopes, and already in summer and autumn on rock and volcanic scree. In its beginning it crosses the upper part of the trekking \"el paso de la desolaci\u00f3n\", the saddle that connects \"La Picada\" with the Osorno volcano, and then it continues along the ridges that go into this ancient volcano and the beginning of the climb to its summit.<\/p>\n

The vestiges of an ancient volcano that joined with the desolation pass to the Osorno Volcano have created a small Patagonia in the Lakes region.
