(Tax ID/RUT: 76.076.673-9), unless another operator is expressly indicated in the corresponding program. Sociedad Turismo HAE Ltda. is legally represented by Matías Andrés Potthoff Pugin (RUT 16.838.849-7), with business address at V-623 KM 3.9, Ensenada, Puerto Varas, Los Lagos Region, Chile.
Huella Andina Expeditions is an Adventure Tourism company registered with the National Tourism Service (SERNATUR) for the categories of Trekking (Registration No. 16794) and Alpine Mountaineering (Registration No. 10667), holding a valid commercial license issued by the Municipality of Puerto Varas, and having complied with the documentary review and on-site inspection required under Law No. 20.423 and Supreme Decree No. 19 of SERNATUR.
For all programs carried out within State-protected wilderness areas (National Parks, National Reserves or Natural Monuments), HAE Ltda. has operated since 2009 as an authorized permit holder of the National Forestry Corporation (CONAF), Los Lagos Region, for trekking and mountaineering activities.
All guides leading any of our programs shall be active members of the National Association of Mountain Guides (ANGM). All adventure tourism services operated by Huella Andina Expeditions have been designed in accordance with the standards of the Chilean National Institute for Standardization (INN) applicable to Trekking (NCh2985), Mountaineering (NCh2962), and Alpine Mountaineering (NCh2951).
Each program includes a technical information sheet (“Program”), available on the corresponding webpage, which details at least the service description, itinerary, price, included and excluded services, participant-responsible equipment, required experience and technical capacity, activity limitations or restrictions, expected participant actions for the proper execution of the program, and the technical criteria for its modification, suspension or termination.
Pre-sale and post-sale communication is conducted exclusively via email or through the chat feature on our website. No coordination, modifications, or contractual agreements are managed through social media, WhatsApp, or telephone calls.
Our office receives clients strictly by prior appointment, as most administrative work is conducted remotely. Once a service is confirmed, the contact details of the guide in charge will be provided via WhatsApp on the day the program begins, in order to address last-minute operational inquiries.
All prices are expressed in Chilean Pesos (CLP, CH$), include applicable taxes, and correspond to a per-person rate.
Each program establishes a maximum number of participants per guide (ratio), defined by our risk management guidelines, which directly affects the program price. The total cost of the program must be paid in full prior to the program start date.
Accepted payment methods include: cash (USD, EUR or CLP); credit or debit cards exclusively via payment links (http://hae.cl/webpay and http://hae.cl/klap) or payment gateways enabled on the website (Klap and Wetravel); and electronic bank transfers in CLP, EUR or USD, as applicable. Payments made through Wetravel are subject to a 2.9% service fee, which shall be borne by the client.
For payments made in foreign currency via cash or bank transfer, conversion shall be calculated from the Chilean Peso price using the observed exchange rate of the day minus CLP $25. For further information regarding available payment methods, please click on the following link.
In adventure tourism and mountain activities, program execution is subject to dynamic variables inherent to the natural environment, the physical and emotional condition of participants, and technical evaluations conducted on site by the guide in charge, in accordance with applicable regulations and safety standards. Accordingly, schedules, routes, objectives, and progression methods may be modified before or during the activity when required by safety considerations, operational efficiency, weather conditions, terrain conditions, or the actual capabilities of the group. Effective participation in the activity constitutes the express and voluntary acceptance of the modifications, adjustments, or adaptations communicated by the company and/or the guides responsible for execution, which shall be deemed an integral part of the contracted service. Failure to achieve the main objective of the program (for example, reaching a summit or completing a route) does not, by itself, constitute a breach of the service nor entitle the participant to a partial or full refund, provided that the activity has commenced and has been executed in whole or in part in accordance with technical and safety criteria. In the event of program redefinition, the service may be charged according to the activity actually carried out, and a partial refund of the difference may apply; however, under no circumstances shall a full refund be granted, particularly when the decision not to continue is made by the participants themselves or is related to their physical or emotional condition, personal expectations or subjective tolerance of the mountain environment.
For tourism services contracted remotely or by electronic means and scheduled for a specific date or period, the general right of withdrawal applicable to distance contracts shall not apply. In such cases, cancellation, rescheduling, and refund conditions shall be governed exclusively by the specific Cancellation Policy applicable to each program, as detailed in its technical information sheet, which forms an integral part of the contract between the parties, in accordance with applicable legislation.
By contracting and/or participating in an adventure tourism service operated by HAE Ltda., participants declare that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these General Terms and Conditions, the specific Program published on the website, and the Declaration of Knowledge and Acceptance of Risks, Terms and Conditions available at http://hae.cl/aceptacion.
